How do I start private lessons?

Whether you skip or graduate from group lessons, the following coaches (listed alphabetically) are certified by United States Figure Skating (USFS) to teach private figure skating lessons:

Craig Bond                              Jenny Bond                           Ann Doherty

                                585-683-2849                            509-619-6514                       509-392-2714

                        craighbond@yahoo.com          triicesk8ing@gmail.com        ann.doherty.ad@gmail.com

Contact one of the above coaches and arrange a lesson time on Arena "Practice Ice," or "Public Skate." Lesson fees for 15 to 30 minute lessons range between $50 - $65 per hour, payable directly to your coach. For example, a 15 minute lesson will cost between $12.50 and $16.25, depending on the instructor.  $8 session fee is payable to the Arena.

Instructors certified by USFS complete annual continuing education courses, carry instructor's insurance, complete Safesport Training, and agree to the Professional Skater's Association (PSA) Code of Ethics and Tenets of Professionalism.

Can I Compete in Figure Skating?

Yes! The TCFSC hosts one competition each year, usually in the Spring or Summer.   Look for updates on our website and tell your coach you're interested in competing. The USFS chart of competitive levels is here.
